FISH has been given a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to buy part of the old police station site in Lea Road and transform it into a new FISH Volunteer Centre. This will guarantee continuity of its current services and, it is hoped, enable us to expand and improve what we can offer to the local community. In order to make this exciting move possible, we need to raise funds. Please see below our current fund-raising events for ways you can help:
'Buy a Brick' - click here for the form (or pick up a form from the FISH office, on the FISH bus, or at various outlets in Sonning Common)
'Village Charity Lunch on 29th April ' - click here for details. Tickets available at the FISH office, from Fred Nickson or FISH volunteers
Grand Prize Draw - To be drawn at the charity lunch on 29th April. Tickets (£1 each available at the FISH office, from Fred Nickson or FISH volunteers
Bobble hat/tea cosy knitting - to produce items which can be sold to raise funds. Please pick up FREE wool, needles and patterns from the FISH office - or we can bring them to you...
We hope everyone who wants to be involved with the new FISH Volunteer Centre will see something they can do to help. Any additional ideas you may have will be warmly received- please contact FISH by phone (0118 9723986); email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or in person in the office or by talking to a FISH volunteer.
